About Amy Boggs
I am passionate about life. I love capturing emotion through my lens…babies yawning, couples kissing, parents crying (at a wedding), kids playing…all raw emotions. I truly believe it is a privilege to be doing what I love, photography.
I was born and raised in Cali. I start each day with a cup of coffee and a little soy milk. I am a new mom of an awsome little man!! I spent a few years in Mexico working at an orphanage. I’m a doula. I love to sew and crochet.
I went to UC Santa Cruz and now have a BA in social justice. One goal in life is to visit all Central American countries at least once (I have made it to 3). I am married. Love being around people in love…love it! I have only owned Canon cameras, starting when I was 6 or so. I am a little goofy…okay a lot, but that is okay.
About Gaylene Ewing I feel like I have been given the gift/curse of noticing everything. When I am out and about I see the veins in every leaf, the perfect wear on a beach-front door, an intricate iron fence, or colors contrasting to make the perfect vision. I love the game of trying to capture what I see, and the beauty or mystery it encompases.
I married my high school sweetheart. I like to wear boots and big earrings. I am always booking my next adventure to explore our wonderful world. I like to grow my own food. I listen to ghetto rap in my car.
Raised here on the beautiful Central Coast, I find it very easy for my camera to enter into a photo-snapping frenzy! As a Cal Poly, SLO Alum, I am eager to make my degree in Earth Sciences completely useless by following my passion for photography.
